New game (not sims 5)
Do you think they could be releasing a new game not the Sims 5 but like a spin-off Sims in space or somthing a bit like Sims Medeval but without the restrictions and set in a different time period the...

Life Stories and Pet Stories could have been added to Sims 2. But they were instead spin-offs because EA wanted to see if they sold better that way.
Scripted Story RPG mode as The Sims 2 feature ? I doubt Maxis would do it.
The Sims Stories was developed by Aspyr, it's maybe the other reason there is this spin-off.
Aspyr only ported both the Sims 2 and the Sims Stories from Windows to Mac like Aspyr has done with so many other games. But all the games were originally developed by EA’s Sims Division. The only difference between TS2 and the 3 Sims Stories games therefore was that the Sims Stories games were aimed at laptops (and low-end stationary computers). The sidegames were therefore just EA’s attempt to reach younger simmers who weren’t ready for a bigger Sims game yet.
In the Sims 2 days EA only made the games available for Windows computers. But Aspyr wanted to make both the Sims games and a lot of other games available for Mac too. In 2003 Aspyr owned 60% of the entertainment market for Mac. Aspyr also has ported many games to Linux and since then Aspyr also has ported many games to different consoles and mobile devices.
Not really - they were called Dorm games so college age and under is what they designed them for (there was even ads on tv for them back then- I recall the Castaways ad) as many college pcs were not really made for gaming. I never bothered with them as they were too much like quest games and I had my fill of those kind of games. I stuck to just the regular Sims series games.
