New Hair Swatches are coming!

Found this on SimsVip, on the livestream they were looking at the hairs and there's more swatches!

Looks like there's 6 new swatches - 2 blondes, 2 browns, one black and one grey. The blondes look like one ashy blonde swatch and a darker blonde swatch. The blue-black we currently have is now the second darkest swatch on there so I'm guessing that means we're getting a true black as well!

No date yet but if they're teasing it already I'm guessing it could possibly be out as soon as the next patch :)

Lovely. Colorwheel for hair (only) would be better though. If townies wore the basic preset colours obvi.

Anything is better then nothing of course.

I was so focused on looking at the updated hair texture and style wise, that I didn't even notice the new colors. Nice job catching that.

Part of me is hoping it will be a little more in depth than what we see now. (ie even more additional swatches, or the swatches + a slider) but overall this is pretty exciting.

Are we sure that this is actually coming to the game? I'm worried that the guru showing off the sims might have had a mod in her game that she forgot to take out :o

No wrenches on the new colors, and if it's a production build, they probably don't use mods with those (I know he's just one designer, but I believe GrimSuruDoi said he doesn't use mods on his work machine because they have to test against vanilla.)

They may not know if the new swatches will be ready by the next patch, and it's probably better to not say anything and have them be a "surprise" than to say "We're hoping to get new swatches in by the next patch" and have it not happen.

As it is now, there will be some Simmers who will spin this in their head into a "promise" of new swatches next patch and then get mad at the Gurus if it doesn't happen.

Yeah probably, I think it will take a while until we will hear more.
