New Patch Update cause sims to be mean again for no reason Xbox and Playstation players affected too

I agree.

I love drama and I thought that was made on purpose, you know, for spicy gameplay. But it has no sense at all, everyone is insulting each other no matter which traits they have. Please we need fights and randomness but it has to be according to sims personalities.

Didn’t run into this problem on my PS5, but I just started new save after latest patch. Could it be that it affects saves created before that? I also play a sim with new loyal trait. All is normal in my game.

Edit: oh yeah and I recently reinstalled the game too.

Don't know, some players are having issues, and some are not, I only play mine on PC and I've changed folders by using a very old save folder and a very new folder and I'm still getting the mean bug.

Also @Olalla1986 it's very hard to spot, the sim is not walking around being mean or upset, they start off having a very normal conversation with other sims or just approach a sim and insult them. It's very hidden bug that happens random.

After the professor finished going off on the bartender, she started with my sim at the bar next.

This should be fixed in the next patch. I'm sure the modder revealed the code error to SimGuruNick on AHQ.

I hope they actually drop a hotfix on 18/10 cause this bug is very, very annoying #_#

Temporary solution for those using mods - HERE by NateTheL0ser. Description:
"So this is apparently a real bug instead of what I thought was just MC Tuner going way too ham.... I took it upon myself to wrangle the test set for autonomous mean socials because what business did my sims have insulting someone they were just kissing and having a great time with.
This mod has a new test set inserted just about everywhere in "testSet_MeanSocialsAutonomous" that's present in most, if not all mean interactions' "test autonomous" lists. Now sims who are actually rude will be rude, with some custom traits also accounted for (if they have alien/vampire hatred traits from Misery Traits, for example, they'll have no issue autonomously starting shit with the occults they hate so much). Sims with traits like Good or Compassionate will abstain from this autonomy, and sims without any special traits still need to at least have some reason to go about insulting and picking fights."
