New Retro Phones

I knew that the phones would not be functional because I saw spoilers before the event. The alarm clock, buffet table & cake from the event are functional.

It's really too bad that they(The Team.) couldn't make this functional gameplay.

I got the same dang phone in my sims 3 game and it's great...but they should have made it playable in sims 4. 🤐🙂

I agree.  The Telephone should've been functional.

Do you think someone will mod it to make the retro phones work? 

I still think they should make real, functional landlines and they could be used as a blocker to incessant smartphone usage. The Goth family, of-the-grid lots and the more rural worlds... they should have landlines for a more realistic situation. I found plenty of places in the game where having a landline would make so much more sense.

Haha, i knew they were decoration. I stille wanted it because in my basement at home i actually still got one.

But the other items are not all that interesting to me, and i just wasted my whole evening, reverting the park in Willow creek. And watching the news for 15 minutes, which are suposed to trigger Emit spawn. Nothing.

Then i made a second search, i learned, that he can spawn as some one else... if u got MCCC which i dont, and other pages of problems, which i dont really wanna waste time (or my eyes) on. lol

I am not going to waste anymore time on that, videogaming is a passtime for me, it dont mean i gotta waste time.

I read that they were decorations only before the event started. I wasn't surprised but am disappointed by this decision. Not even a shortcut to the phone menu. It's a missed opportunity.
