Hello!
I was super excited to learn that house phones were coming back. Once I was able to claim them, I immediately put one in my Sim’s home. To my surprise, they are not functional 😔. Did anyone else know about this? Or did I miss the memo about them just being a decoration?
Now I’m thinking the alarm clock will not work either once I claim it 🤦🏽♀️.
I knew that the phones would not be functional because I saw spoilers before the event. The alarm clock, buffet table & cake from the event are functional.

Yup~ Got mentioned multiple times and in description they wouldn't be functional unfortunately til I saw the notes for it before the event started. Shame really. They're just nice, teasing, decor.
I have the alarm clock in game and it works fine. Can set it at any time during the day to go off and you can set individual alarm clocks.
It's really too bad that they(The Team.) couldn't make this functional gameplay.
I got the same dang phone in my sims 3 game and it's great...but they should have made it playable in sims 4. 🤐🙂
