Just a reminder, that's $50 dollars total for two packs of the same theme which still have less content than the predecessor entry, whereas The Sims 3 gave you horses, cats, dogs, small pets, a new open world to explore while riding your horse around as in other worlds, tons of new skills to control your pets with, and more.
The Sims 3's version was released in 2011, costs $10 dollars less, and has more content. This franchise is becoming far more of a joke and greedy money grab than ever before.
I don't see many people mentioning inflation...
Most things cost more than they did ten years ago. Food, real estate, entertainment, movies. At least they cost me more.
I am not defending EA here. But asking an honest question. Why should we be surprised that they are charging more for the same content, regardless of how it's pieced out?
It's not the slight increase to price that bothers me, it's that content seems to be separated and sold in multiple packs. OR and JA should have been one pack, but, I can somewhat overlook it as they are GAME packs, so I kind of get that. :smirk:
But Cats and Dogs is an EP, and now a SP that should have been in that EP, that seriousl y was not that expanded. It seems more and more that it's all about how much money they can get out of us more than what great content they can give us. :(
