Patch notes. As others have said it seems the art team did some fixes but where are the fixes for gameplay issues and or objects?

I have no idea who she is supposed to be, it was a picture that you could see if you were offline which had a pointless message that you could use your phone and some people on twitter have commented in the past that she looks creepy.
This whole thing seems like an inside joke and they apparently thought it was funny enough that they wanted to show it to their whole player base. I'm pretty sure the majority of the people who plays the sims have no idea what it's about so I don't find it funny at all.

I agree that we need fixes for the gameplay issues, sims are still T-posing when giving birth at the hospital and that is not more important than this? I hope that they are going to fix that someday instead of spending time on things like this.

Hi! I have the exact same screen after the new update!! I can't get into my game and it doesn't help to press Esc. It happens everytime after an update or patch. Why is this happening and what can I do?

Yesterday I went ahead and made her Jordan's sister after ageing her down to teen and much needed tweaks.

And after a CAS comparison of Jordan and Callie I confirmed there are little structural differences between their faces. Though Callie's top and bottom eyelids are def pulled to the max. Super unsettling lol

Couldn't agree more.

If they really, really had to change the main screen, then at least give us two resume choices - resume from sim/resume from world.

Now I have to go into a load screen - so two extra mouse clicks- OK, not much in the great scheme of things, but still.

As for the aesthetics, I really do think it looks like something you would see in Microsoft Office. Not a look I want in my games.

The phone chick may have a canon name now, but to me she'll always be Call Girl.

Where did she come from? I have never seen her before.

Glad some bugs were squashed, honestly. Didn't see many of my own issues on the list, but here's to hoping that will be addressed in the next round.

And not sure how I feel about the new main menu. I thought ONE pic of that girl was enough, now every panel has her pic on it. And I have no idea how to remove/replace them. Not that I spend much time on the main menu, and it was nice that my last played sim would like to see me again, but I'm still looking for a way to "personalize" it, as it said.

Well, from what I see in the notes, it was a bunch of bugs fixed so... Yeah, a great update!
Not because of the new opening background with ‘phone girl’ but because fixing bugs is always a GREAT thing lol.

I play rotational and I have mixed feelings about the new way that "resume" works. On the one hand, it will be great when I'm resuming with the intent to play the same household I left when I last played, on the other hand it's an extra step when I'm going to be switching households immediately.

I rotate once per (sim) week, and I very often save and exit just as it is time to rotate, that being a good stopping point for my play. I think I'd love the change if I did not play rotational though.
