I can't say for sure, but probably not. MCCC has had the option for households to move autonomously for years, and the houses they move out of don't become unfurnished. Even with MCCC though, households wherein the last surviving members die do. I imagine the new feature is going to use the same game functions that MCCC has always used and that it will work the same in that respect.

BTW, the houses where the last survivor dies don't truly become unfurnished, if you go into them in BB from Manage worlds all the furniture is still there even though it isn't giving an option to move in as "furnished". Buy and place just one piece of furniture and you'll get the option back.
