- Neighborhood Stories update looks good. I appreciate the ability to turn it on/off and the customization for the features for it. Very pleased they went all out on that and not just have it "all or nothing" kind of feature.
Happy with more glitch fixes, but I'm disappointed we still don't have a fix to the "alien age up facial genetics reset" glitch and since I imagine part two of the patches for this month is going to be heavily MWS-oriented; it seems I'll have to keep waiting on that one.
Gonna hold off on updating my game for a while incase there are any new glitches (and not sure on the state of the lag for the game). But this is a good step in the right direction. - Llandros2012Seasoned Rookieso if my non-played sims start moving into new homes, does this mean that their previous house will sit there with all the furnishings deleted like it does when the last household member dies? It's a bit irritating to deal with that

I can't say for sure, but probably not. MCCC has had the option for households to move autonomously for years, and the houses they move out of don't become unfurnished. Even with MCCC though, households wherein the last surviving members die do. I imagine the new feature is going to use the same game functions that MCCC has always used and that it will work the same in that respect.
BTW, the houses where the last survivor dies don't truly become unfurnished, if you go into them in BB from Manage worlds all the furniture is still there even though it isn't giving an option to move in as "furnished". Buy and place just one piece of furniture and you'll get the option back.- bandit34Seasoned Traveleroh never knew that nice too know.
- telemwillSeasoned AceI saw a YouTube video by Neecxle on the story progression. It seemed to work well except there was no urn left in the household when a Sim died an accidental death. He was just gone from the relationship panel, and his wife had no emotion related to the death. That's a little disappointing. I was considering using this option to thin out my rotation households, but I don't won't to use it if the Sim is just deleted.
- DaWaterRatNew VanguardWell, I just got done playing one of the new scenarios for a sim week. (It's going to take a while)
When I checked on "what's happening in Neighborhood stories", I think I only got the most recent notification, because when I went to look at Household management after the week's play
* Several households now had pets or additional pets
* several households had additional kids, either adopted or born
* I had 4 ghosts I didn't recognize, despite not going to any ghost night/place where my sim would have interacted with ghosts
* A not-negligible number of normally "Not in World" sims were now attached to various worlds. I didn't hunt down where they actually had homes.
So, yeah. A lot was going on. So far, no households have split up, and I didn't notice that any had moved either, but I wasn't looking that hard. And I'm playing on Long Life (because I didn't feel like resetting my calendar)
But I liked what I saw. It was fun to see the changes in the various households after a week.
Not every household changed either.
And I only got a few calls from my sim's friends about relationship changes. Not that she has a lot of friends at the moment, focused as she is on going to space and finding aliens. - @DaWaterRat, Thanks for sharing your findings so far. I just finished updating my game and I wasn't brave enough to enable most of the Neighborhood Stories features without hearing from folks here first.
All I turned on, so far, is the option to adopt pets. I figure, what could go wrong with that. - bandit34Seasoned TravelerI guess you would have too visit them if they have pets too be sure there is food bowl for the new pet.

The pets don't actually need a food bowl unless you visit the lot, so I'll just worry about that when I do visit it, rather than going out of my way to do it."telemwill;c-18078544" wrote:

Yeah I saw their tweet and someone said it might be a bug because similar thing happened to them before the update but it only happened once.
