New Year Giveaway (Winners Announced)

This year, what I've enjoyed most was my attempt at the 100 Baby Challenge. Though I no longer have much time to play, the challenge itself pushed me into different ways of playing Sims 4. Since I was writing blog posts and taking pictures, I didn't just fast-forward through the boring parts or start a new save. I was really encouraged to find ways to keep the same storyline interesting, both for myself and for the few people who followed my Simblr.

I'm interested in Realm of Magic for PC. I own all expansions, but the only other game pack I own is Vampires. I'd love to add magic to my supernatural collection!

I've most enjoyed getting better at building and decorating. I feel like I'm finally in a place with my game to enjoy all aspects of it. I enjoy creating sims now. I enjoy building. I enjoy decorating. And I enjoy playing. It's only taken me 20 years to enjoy something other than playing the game. :D f

I've been really happy with the free updates. Finally adding in terrain movement and that pretty cool adjustable stairs. Not to mention all of the free build/buy/cas stuff. Those recently converted pack hairs for toddlers and kids? Adorable.
Adjustable pillar height was so cool too. I was working on an apartment and was thinking "man I wish we had that from Sims 3" and like a week later it came to be. They also unlocked all those debug items which allows for so much in-depth decoration and landscaping options!

I'm really enjoying Discover University. I purposefully didn't watch or read any trailers, hints or playthroughs. So when my sim landed in the dorm at Britechester, I got to experience that heady freshman excitement and naiveté as we both tried to figure out what we were doing and where to go next. Hitting the books and enduring roommate drama was thriling. Really good close to the year.

It was simply another great year with the Sims comunity! It would be too much to list, and I would probably forget half of it anyway! :D Most important is: I enjoy the game so much and the exchange with other Simmers.

The thing I've enjoyed the most is being able to use magic again.

If I'm lucky enough to win I'd want Laundry Day for PC. Alternatively, should I be picked for the EP I'd ask for Cats and Dogs, or Dine Out for the GP.

In general, I really like the approach on how the Sims team has shared with us the milestone of each pack that has been released this year. I hope that they could continue this approach again in the future. The free updates has been great, the tools are amazing. The packs are fun. For now, I have all my most wanted packs. I hope that the team can continue to surprise us with a unique & engaging packs in the future. More than that, I want to give a pat on my own back because, it's my first time that I managed to play the Sims beyond the 3rd generation. Now, I'm on the fifth!

ETA:- So, if I'm lucky enough, I wish that I could have the 1.Island Living/2.Moschino pack (Mac/PC).

Only came in and started half a year back.

Get together changed a few things for me but so did Deaderpool's MC mod. Before this i had 300 hours and almost lost complete interest in TS4. When i purchased Get together shortly after i got MC just after that 300 hour mark, combined they gave me another 1,000 hours of game time to enjoy.

Some sims have been very interesting to play out. At first when i created my first house it was with a teenage Sandra Matthews, and that is where most of my 300 hours came from, but later teenaged Tobias Lancaster and Ryan Jacklin came into the picture and eventually another two houses and then Summer Holiday and Cassandra Goth as love interests formed.

Since then i've gone through lots of households and new houses most recently ending up with the Vampires DLC expanding out the Woodrowe's as Vampires to make up for their backstory being cursed by a witchdoctor. New households; Marcellius, Aepponius, Anhunubal and Von Korlinstav.

However with all that said, i've been playing Sandra Matthews throughout that experience of 2,000 hours because that sim mirrors a lot of myself, and i find her character who is deliberate and careful about what she wants from life to be most enjoyable to play. Sandra has specific goals to herself;

-Don't interact with anyone if it can be helped.
-Do not marry or get into a relationship.
-Natural born children are essential for her desires for the future, meaning an anonymous one night stand is her only choice but she picks the guy who has the best traits she can find out about (also overall appearance will have a factor as well, she has got to be picky to make sure her children look attractive when they get older).
-Sandra wants what she wants and anything she does do is on her own dime.
-Sandra is creative, meaning any creative endeavours (Painting, Writing, Singing, DJ, Cooking, et al.) are a requirement at all times for her to enjoy herself.
-Sandra must build a fortune and legacy for her children, but she must not be forgotten either for all the sacrifices she made to give the family the riches and rewards that come with her singular dedication to what she wanted.
-Sandra's natural born children must build a very positive relationship with Sandra growing up and strongly preferred not to have contact with the father.
-Sandra must have a natural born male child in order to continue the Matthews name, that is a priority to her.

With these simple goals she is a joy to play. No other sims i play has such rules, but those rules are simple to follow.

Thanks for the giveaway. I mostly enjoyed playing with my families in cities thanks to Get Together mostly because I'm a city girl.

I'd like to have Seasons EP, Realm of Magic GP, or Laundry Day SP for PC.

This was the year I started playing Sims actively again and I fully enjoyed all of it. The absolute most fun were building challenges here on the forums (and some on the gallery). Out of the packs, I've gotta say Realm of Magic is the winner.
