Wasn't there a thread specifically made for you all to argue and debate about whether the game needs more occult stuff vs. family stuff?
I hope you all know that it's possible to express your hopes for what the new expansion pack will be without putting down another genre of packs that others might hope for also.
It's not fair occult fans are allowed to state their wishes in this thread and family players aren't. They weren't argueing, they were just stating their opinion and what they want for the new pack. It's the same as occult fans have done in this thread before."Dakota88;c-17865606" wrote:

Read my comment again. I never specified which group was doing what, just that both were doing it. I want both occult and family gameplay, mind-blowing right? But I'm not going to come in here and say "I wantbut I sure hope it's not " it's just purposefully looking for a fight for the sake of arguing and it's obnoxious. "SimmerGeorge;c-17865590" wrote:

I'd be totes down for more occults AFTER a Generations-type pack, simply because the game is in need of it. It would help improve the core of the game, which is what TS4 really needs. Adding more occults before doing something to the core game would just follow the same pattern of adding more fancy decorations onto an unstable foundation like the recent packs have done.
@Bluelle But that's exactly my arguement against a Generations pack. If a pack like this has features so important to the core of the game, why isn't it in the base game. DLC is supposed to expand the game in different directions, not improve its core. That's the base game's job. And I personally do not think it's okay to pay more for something so crucial to a life simulation game. That's what I thought with the Sims 3 Generations as well.
If we start relying on DLC to make the life stages fleshed out and fun, which are one of the most important base game features, then I think we're missing the point.
I personally don't want free babies, more activities for kids and teens and improved life states in a DLC. At least this to me is a feature the base game should cover. Just my opinion really.
I totally agree that the base game should cover those things, but it doesn't. I also love occults and want more of them, I just want them to prioritize family stuff since we've had several occult packs but only 1 family-ish pack. But in the end they will listen to none of us lol- Monet11New Spectator

I can't believe that after 7 pages no-one figured out what the gurus actually mean with their redacted mystery tweets.
I have. Remember George's the guru who's been sharing baby pictures all year long last year?
That's right. I can even guess its name. It's what literally everybody wants:

"You know that only works if you are playing with and the new ."
In the new Baby Lifestyle EP we're getting:- An all new Holiday Destination just for babies called "Baby Ville".
- When traveling to Baby Ville you will have full control over the baby life stage. Parents and Guardians will be left behind because Baby Ville is for Babies only.
- What's more, for the first time ever in Sims 4, babies are able to roam free in Baby Ville. In fact, bassinets are illegal in Baby Ville. Objects no more. Be a proud, free roaming baby.
- Babies are able to crawl, roll or just lie around and smile at the blue blue Sky in Baby Ville. Season't doesn't work with Babyville because it's always sunny and it never rains.
- As long as Babies live in Baby Ville they don't need to be fed and nappies don't need to be changed. Babes can drink from The Fountain of Milk & Honey and fill their nappies with tiny little gummy bears after.
- The gummy bears aren't edible but they make great friends. Gummy bears don't like Blarfy the Big Barf Bear because he eats the gummy guys, but that's ok. The babies are safe and happy and they can always produce more gummy friends.
- Babies cannot age up in Baby Ville. Once a baby, always a baby. They can however build a Baby Rocketship in the shape of a giant pacifier which will bring them back home safe so they an continue to grow up. But why would they want to do that? Life's already perfect in Baby Ville and it only just started.
The first rule of Baby Lifestlye is that you do not jest about Baby Lifestyle. The second rule of Baby Lifestyle is that you do not jest about Baby Lifestyle. - An all new Holiday Destination just for babies called "Baby Ville".

Occult/Generations argument is as pointless as Island Living Vs. Cats and Dogs battle. Or Vehicles Vs. My First Pet Stuff. They argued and missed my brilliant guess for the upcoming update... Hope Antwerpo will notice it

Because it's EA, and EA wants to make money? It's really that simple.
Same can be said for Seasons and even Pets. Both of those things are also very important in a life simulation game, yet they still are EP's.
We are talking about The Sims 4 here. Even with a bazillion of DLC's, the game is still lacking..
In fact the Sims 4 is all about relying on DLC (and mods) to make the game more ''fun'' (short term), this is because indeed the basegame and the core of the game itself is still lacking after almost 7 years..
EA isn't a charity. If they know they can make money somehow, they gladly will take advantage of that.
I am not against any occult pack or whatsoever, but in my humble opinion occults can wait a little. There are (again, in my opinion) more important areas that still need coverage. One of them is Generations fleshing out all the life stages.
By now we know it's very unrealistic to think EA is going to do that by free updates. Maybe a few things here and there, but most of it we will have to pay for.
But in the end it is all up to EA and what they decide to release next. We can scream and shout and moan and complain about what we want next on the forums, but that doesn't change anything anyway. It comes when it comes.
And also in the end there are so many people wanting different stuff. The community is so diverse. There is a market for every theme. "rudy8292;c-17865639" wrote:

@rudy8292 Thing is you don't have to put up with it. I know I won't. Not getting Generations if it's ever released.
But yeah back on topic, I think even though there are other things that we might need in the Sims 4 I'm glad for more occult stuff and I hope that the stuff that needs to be added like family gameplay will come with the next EP instead of this pack which I'm guessing will be a GP.- DomainGoat90New Spectator

And that's totally fine. If the next pack is occult related, It's fine by me.
We all have different priorities and we all get fun out of different things, and that's not a bad thing.
In the end I just hope that we all get what we want. :)
