To be honest I really don't care what it is. :p I've had fun with every pack released to date and I'm sure it won't be any different for whatever comes next. I'm just eagerly anticipating an announcement tomorrow. :)

So is there really an announcement coming tomorrow? One of the gurus who tweeted said there's no announcement that he's aware of; they were just trolling each other. But everyone seemed to ignore that and expects an announcement.

I only wish I were interested in a pack geared specifically for family play or a pack geared specifically for occult play. Sadly, I'm not. But I haven't yet completely given up on something all about music. Bands (including singers and some new instruments), orchestras, concerts, concert halls, updates to enable existing venues to host shows, new radio stations, some new DJ stuff (like less music that sounds meant for children's parties and more that sounds good in nightclubs), some career(s) stuff, maybe more, and hopefully with multiple genres that are not just different flavors of pop. I don't know if they'd do a whole EP for such a thing, or include a world with it. But hey, I can hope, so I do.

I mean, Gurus know if they use , it WILL cause all the speculations go wild.. so it kind of has to be something..

maybe its not an announcement coming tomorrow maybe its a trailer or an update @IceyJ

I consider a trailer to be an announcement. And if there's a significant update, there'd be a blog or something, which is also an announcement. Just trying to avoid disappointment if nothing happens...

I consider a trailer to be an announcement. And if there's a significant update, there'd be a blog or something, which is also an announcement. Just trying to avoid disappointment if nothing happens...

I understand but a lot of times they do an announcement to say there will be a trailer I just hope they just give us the trailer I don't want to wait another day more

VeeDub, I can't quote you because I'm too new, but I agree that I'm not interested in families/kids OR occult but like you, I'm also very interested in bands/musicians. I think we're definitely in the minority with this though, brother. Lol

However, with that said. I wouldn't mind if they came out with more family/kid/occult content. The devs don't owe me anything. I quit my last game because I didn't like the direction it was taking, I can do that again if I become unhappy playing TS4 (the other is fantasy MMORPG, totally different thing). But no, I'm having a blast and I love that I can choose what I want in the game.

That said. I also like that Seasons and Cats & Dogs are not base game as I'm still on the fence about getting them personally. Some things sound great, but others? I don't enjoy Holidays irl (I've never been good at scheduled fun) and I love my cats, but they're needy enough irl that I kind of enjoy the break from them.

Anyway, I'm enjoying this game. I think they did a great job. Whatever we're getting next, if I like it, I'll buy it, and if I don't like it, I won't buy it. Either way I'm curious, excited, and very grateful to the devs! <3

I like the way you think re: like=buy, don't=won't. :) I don't dislike family stuff or occult stuff myself, but it's extremely unlikely that I'd buy a pack if its sole focus was either of those things (which is why I choose not to buy Parenthood. Ever). Also, welcome to the forums!
