"Next class" AFTER your last day of the "semester" - can ignore homework?

Just curious: if your last day of school is, for example, Thursday, but you have "homework" that's due Friday, does it matter whether you do it or not? Or will it count against you not doing it?

It’s safe to ignore it because as soon as the class is over your term is over too. Though it’s a bit hypocritical coming from me, I always do homework out of habit. No matter what. :p
