Next GP and Kit Guesses?

What I am really curious about is what this announcement means for a possible EP in June. The release of a EP in June has been a constant over the last few years. Will we get a GP and a EP over the next 2 to 3 months or will the GP replace the EP. I am afraid it might be the latter.

last time we had GP in May was 2017

that year we got Parenthood and Vampires with Pets EP and 3 stuff packs

i think they could still do ep with that space of 2sp and 1gp though they might also make one bomb gp instead cause well seeing that vampires there makes me drool im not gonna lie it was best gp year yet and gave things to occult and family players both

last time gp was june it was dine out in 2016 but that year it was whopping 5 stuff packs and one ep (city living) and well i don't think thats what theyre scheming because dang. I just assume spring would have spawned more stuff packs in that case and they did promise kits are not going to have anything to do with amount of packs released soo...

I don't know why. But since they say that upcoming kit is really beautiful or something like this it made me thinking of weddings. So my guess it's a wedding kit.

For GP I do not know what's more possible, but I think it's either Supernaturals (Faeries or Werewolves) or Hotels Management GP.

I'd also suggest cars. But I think they'll be a base game update in the end.

I hope you are right about the wedding pack. Weddings in Sims 4 are pretty tragic.

If it's a GP it's probably just the high school if it's that. My issue with the active type careers of TS4 is how extremely repetitive they can get with awful event tab goals. "Pick three apples" type gameplay... isn't really gameplay imo. What makes the scientist career more fun though is the whole crafting aspect of it and getting breakthroughs as if you're leveling a skill. So we'll see. I hope they don't just re-use the GTW/GF formula to do highschools.

Why is everyone expecting a school pack when the devs avoided all classroom gameplay in University? If such pack brings TS3 only rabit holes I don't need it.

american highschool was mentioned on survey which also had snowy escape questions so its possible something related to american highschool might be coming soon

though i personally would have about thousand other themes over school

I'm looking forward to a School Pack. They need to focus less on completing tasks and more of the drama of school- gossip, cliques, school clubs, dating, prom, etc. That would be interesting.

If it's just read 3 books and write 3 essays, just completing boring tasks, than that would be pretty boring.

So in essence what people want is a school pack without the actual school. A decorative set piece to fulfill their 90210/OC/Riverdale stories.

The university packs get away without the actual university simply because the focus is on activities outside of lectures. Schools in contrast are very much more structured and lead by another person before going home. In order to make school gameplay compelling, they would have to pretty much strip out anything that would identify it as a school.

In my opinion, the Sims is more about domestic situations, and youth activities in game would be better fulfilled with places such as skate parks, arcades and other such hangouts and activities.

And I can already imagine the complaints that all prom is is just s time limited night club for teenagers with a punch bowl instead of a bar.

In my opinion I do want an education pack would I care if the school was a rabbit hole? No but I would like more educational function and developing skills at home that they can carry for the rest of their life. Also homework either notebook or even the computer build up skills and grades that can you go to a university but also would like the highschool drama like toxic jealous friend or frienemis.

For GP I hope it's the latter. Hotels would be a great commonity now.

I think I'm in the minority but I don't think the next GP has an occult theme (because the last two GPs were fantasy themed). If I had to guess I'd say Romance, High School, Hotels or Horses/farming for this one.

They would be stretching the limits of a GP, that's true. A large part of the budget would have to go to new animations.

I'm also curious how they'd tackle high school (a big theme) in a GP though, especially because there's a world coming with the pack.
We also had the Mall theme in a recent survey, maybe that could be something?
