no glasses on Scientist Sim

I created my scientist sim to have glasses in all their everyday clothes and such but when they go to work at the Science lab, the glasses disappear. Is there a way to keep glasses on when they go to work with the ever changing outfits from promotions?

  • I think this cheat should work, I've used it before:

    sims.modify_career_outfit_in_cas

(Although if I remember correctly you have to redo it each time you load up that household, and you may have to redo it when you get a new career outfit with a promotion).

    Hope it helps!

ugh so complicated. I'll pretend he'll wear his contact lenses when he goes to work. HAHA.

That sounds like a good plan! He wouldn't want to have to stop working on a fiddly invention to push his glasses up, or risk them falling off during an experiment!

    exactly!! HAHA!
  • What happens if you click on your sim and choose "Change outfit"? I was thinking you could maybe set an outfit similar to your work outfit (plus the glasses) in a rarely used slot (like formal wear 2) and soon as you arrive at the science lab just change into that.

But I use several outfit affecting mods, so I don't know if this is possible in vanilla Sims 4.

I usually use MCCC for this, it's nice to know there is a no mod work around for it even if it is a bit complicated.
