No Lottery?

How long are your seasons? If you play with 7 day seasons then you will get less holidays. I play with 28 day seasons and I usually get the lottery at least twice a year.

Mine are 7 days long but plenty of YouTubers I have watched are the same and have had the lottery

Lottery has a relatively long cool down, and also only shows up on Wednesday's I believe. Do you have wednesday's locked down with other holidays frequently, because if you do, you won't get the lottery hardly at all because of it. I made sure to clear wednesdays completely so no scheduled holidays fall on them.

There is also a mod that reduces the cooldown so it can happen more often, otherwise it is a ridiculously long period between it's appearance. Even with the mod, I only see the lottery about twice a year (with season length of 3 weeks).

I have Seasons length of two weeks and usually see the lottery about once a year. Haven't yet seen it in my new save but it's only early summer, so I'll keep watching. It could be a bug in your game or possibly a mod issue if you use mods/CC.

And interestingly enough it was on a Wednesday!

I think every random holiday appears on a pre-defined day of the week, so if the days are booked for other holidays throughout the year, you won’t see the related holiday pops up on the calendar.

@marcel21 Not I, but I've seen threads from people here who have.
One person did a save-reload over and over right before the winner announcement until it came up that they won even. LOL
