If this is a bug and it happens to me I'm just going to not save and try again cause I'll be taking pictures of my sims celebrating New Year's Eve especially with Seasons. If it's a bug maybe it will get fixed in the July Update. Seasons seems to have a lot of bugs even more so then Cats and Dogs sadly.
