no Nifty Knitting items showing up in buy mode despite owning the pack and installed

I recently bought and installed Nifty knitting. However when I went to get a knitting basket for my sims there was nothing there! I switched the tabs to nifty kitting items and it said no items. What...

Were you perhaps looking for it in the family inventory instead of buy mode. That happens to me a lot. I filter for a specific category, then realise I'm in the family inventory when nothing shows up.
