I have absolutely nothing to contribute to this discussion because I don't play with celebrities...

But I just gotta say, every time I read this post title it makes me giggle. Every. Single. Time.

I always think to myself "Hmm, nobody every wants my autograph either".

I finished this aspiration recently for unstoppable fame trait and I’m pretty sure you don’t need to be asked for autographs but you just need to sign them, which means you can just initiate the action. The hardest part of this aspiration is the last one and it is also the most degrading one IMO, lol, as you need to be asked 3 times for selfies and do the freaking cheers action where celeb sim is acting like a monkey begging others to notice them. 25 sims need to react positively to this. That’s the hardest part for me. Sims will more likely ask your sim for selfie when you are not controlling them so it’s better to have more people in the household. But with autographs just give them away to sims marked as fans, they are more likely to accept them.

Okay, that's one I'm totally unfamiliar with. I have my Rock Star's aspiration as Music Lover, perk muse. Ah, I rarely, if ever, use the Popular aspiration. I generally use the Friend of the World under that same heading. I shall now have to go check this out. Curiosity killed the cat, after all.

I've had that issue as well. It will happen but it a looooong wait. I think what worked best for me was to just go out a lot and then not play them, let them stand there for fans to approach. The best thing I'd say is to first try and attract people, like singing if you sim does that, acting or playing an instrument etc and then not play your sim so as to not disturb any NCP's coming up to ask.

The celebrity hotspot is a good place, but your sim has to stay outside the whole time obviously. I remember during the summer concert in Willow Creek park I had to have my sim wear their disguise because they got asked for a autograph left and right so she couldn't enjoy the performance. Sadly you can't send your sim there now obviously.
But it goes to show a large gathering will get sims to ask yours for their autograph. Good luck!

Yes it was definitely nerfed. Sure you get a few fans here and there but it's NOTHING like before. I was here when it happened because I brought the pack upon release. I took videos to show to my sister how crazy they were going for my 5star celebrity.
I rarely ever take videos but I got a video of this because I was so shocked/excited!! I swear I'm gonna hunt it down and post it one day? I thought my celebrity was broken for the longest time. I reset his fame over and over and even started over from scratch because it wasn't like a "true" celebrity anymore.

I had to go out in disguise just to live and that was exciting. I had a stalker breaking into my house and some how even got through my fence. Adopted an aggressive guard dog lol. None of that is a reality anymore. People complained it was too much. It was toned down during a patch and this is the result ?
Boring regular ol 5 stars who get treated like a 1 or 2 star.
I will NOT stop crying for my celebrities. I brought the pack to experience the life of fame and I had a blast with it. Could easily opt out.
This feels really unfair.

I don't even use my disguise anymore. That's how regular my sim is now.

That sounds like a lot more fun and a reason for the disguise and guard dog and/ or guard servo. Now my lv 5 fame sims don't need to worry. I can have them run their businesses etc like any other sim and no one bother them.

I wonder if a celebrity being an actor vs famous for anything else plays a role? I think my actor sims might be a little more noticed than my other celebrity sims. Hm.
