No Romantic Interactions

Question

I’m trying to do the 100 baby challenge and I have almost maxed friendship with a sim but can’t progress any further romantically. I was able to do 2 flirt interactions but now they are grayed out and no other options are there. They are both young adults and are not related. Help!!

Are you willing to cheat their romantic relationship just to help things along? modifyrelationship firstsim'sname secondsim'sname 100 romance_main

I don't know if that would help but it's worth a shot maybe?

What are their emotions, if sims are too angry, sad those options become grayed out

They are both playful. I have no idea what is going on. I’ve never had a problem.
