Ay least my sims do not have to social isolate. I wish this was the case in the real world! The UK is in total social isolation. I wish that I could somehow transform myself into the Sim world. This is just the beginning. What is normal life, who knows? Lucky Sims!

My partner and I work in hospitals, my parents are growing oldish and my sister is pregnant. Australia hasn't enforced isolation yet (just strongly encouraged it) but we (partner and I) have started only going to work, home or supermarket.Here are how we're planning to tackle isolation:Still setting up social meetings, just doing them via video call. example: cook same meal as my sister, friend or mum then sit down with tripods on each end and eat dinner together while chatting.Set up a book club with my best friend, to read and then sit down one night to analyse a favourite book.Build an old and comforting movie list with my partner, bake a yummy treat and watch something like Studio Ghibli films together.Unfortunately, by the time proper isolation comes around partner and I will still be working and our families will be home, bored. but ah well, we can tire them out with stories about our days!

I don't know. I pretty much never speak to strangers unless I have to and friends are nonexistent for me.This isolation does not bother me at all. For my sims, it's pretty much the same. Socializing only if the whim strikes.It different for everyone, of course. Just a different opinion.

And the best thing is, sims' toilet paper never gets empty!

I live in the USA in a rural area. I work in small city of about 12k. I have an essential job and can still work. It's risky but yeah it's work and home for me. Everything is closed. I am glad that my Sims can still go out and about though. I wish they had more venues like movie theaters and casinos. lol

I have to set up a Roll 20 version of my face to face game.I believe this and having my kid home for lunch rather than at uni are the only adjustments I've actually needed to make.Oh, and I can't go to the craft store... but it's not like I actually need more crafting stuff. (I really don't. I'm considering offering to make home sewn masks for the whole block just to put a dent in my fabric stash...)

My sims aren't lucky because they're frozen in time now. I haven't been able to play because my two IRL responsibilities don't have to go to school now, and I have to (no joke) keep them from Bedazzling the dog.

Many people here are practicing isolation. I went to the store today and it was a bit weird to see everyone practicing social distancing. We are also geering up for a potential lockdown here. I still have to go to work as I too have an essential job. The hermit within though would like to not have to go to work. But I prob spend way too much time Simming to it's prob best I do have to go to work. I am actually very thankful I still have work.

I'm glad I'm not the only one to not have much change! Even the foods I like are still available because I like foods that are not really mainstream.

I am a lifetime isolationist by choice. My idea of friends are the neighbors I wave to when I get the mail. Imposed isolation doesn't bother me in the least, it's the fact that it is imposed on my husband as well.

Lol, you must be living in a different UK to me then. Did you not see the hoards at the beaches and parks over the weekend?

I am grateful to all who continue to provide entertainment during this time, be it on Youtube with funny videos or share their stories and pictures of Sims here in the Forums. From time to time you need something to laugh about or just to switch off of all this craziness. Please keep it up! :)

I keep starting my sims off to meet someone and going oh, they can't right now. Then hang on they're not in isolation what am I doing?!
