Not all caught fish can be eaten?

I stored 3 bass in my Sim's fridge last week. The bass was caught in Oasis Springs, but I cannot imagine that makes a difference. It sounds like a bug to me because all of those fish are edible.

After reading that list of fish, I am now craving to eat those.

Yes, they were freshly caught. And half of them could be stored in the fridge. Could the size have anything to say? No point storing too small fish?

Edit: I think you got a point @NorthDakotaGamer The fish still in the inventory has "Foul" quality. I don't know if that is so because they now have been in inventory for a couple simdays, or if fish caught when fishing skills are low will be foul. Those in the fridge is up to Excellent, so I assume it's a random thing when fishing, as the sim catching them i a very poor Angler (still catching Excellent quality can't be because of his skills).

I've only had foul fish not go into the fridge. Don't know if some fish, or fish caught at "low" level, spoil faster. I've had almost every kind of fish in the fridge, so don't think its the species.

I have plenty of fishersims, so I've often wanted a sort of storage to put the fish in, temporarily, until they can return home.

I have never come across a fish that can't be refrigerated. Try a game repair.

I'm pretty sure now that it was caused by fish's foul quality. They were caught by a sim with only 1 skill point in Fishing.
