Do Nvidia cards work with The Sims 4?I had to take the Nvidia card out of my computer because it clashed with Sims Medieval, which I don’t play anymore. I want to put it back in to play Vampyr, but I wasn’t sure if it would mess up my Sims game.Anybody know?Also, is it weird that I don’t play vampires in The Sims even though I have the pack but I downloaded a game that’s specifically vampire? Haha.____________Edit: I have the Nvidia GeForce GTX 680 card, which apparently is just a dud card that messes everything up, not just the sims (according to other people on the internet who have had major problems with it). So, if you come across this post and you're using that card--dump it. My poor husband spent hours upon hours doing everything he could to try to get it to work and finally just had to give up. I should be getting a new card tomorrow.

I have always had Nvidia and have never had a problem with any of the Sims games ( not even Medieval ). I still play them all on highest settings. I've heard that Sims 4 works best with the 900 series and up, you don't say which one you have.

I've had no issue playing TS4 with a GTX 1080 sitting in the PCI-E x16 bay, from when i first started playing in the middle of 2019, to now.

My desktop has a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 and works like a dream, no problems whatsoever with it. :) I personally wouldn't buy a pack about Vampires unless I intended to play with them. But, like you, a lot of Simmers have bought the pack just for the build/buy & CAS. You're not alone and you're not weird. Everyone has their own likes/dislikes on how they play this game, no one is wrong/weird or right/sane for how they play their game. Variety is the spice of life as they say, right? ;) As long as you're having fun, who cares?Happy Simming! <3

@SPARKY1922 I play TS4 :) when i first encountered the problem and made a post about it, some lovely people linked me this bug report which had a solution right beneath. The name of the program is in the comments ^^

I use Nvidia as well. The only issue I have with it are thin, dark lines on sims, but that is fixable with a specific program

Could you let me know which series you experience thin dark lines on sims as I have that same issue with sims 3 sims ever since i installed a Nvidia 1070 GeForce graphics card yet UC S2 and Sims 4 are fine. If it is sims 3 sims you have the issue with could you let me know what program you use to fix the problem as I would love to be able to get rid of that particular problem..

I have a great Nvidia G-Force, 1060 with 2gb memory, and have no problems at all on the Ultra settings.
