I use the galvanized one in my game, it looks so fabulously shabby and I do not get the option to wash the dishes, only bin them, when I click on empty plates. Thank you for the feedback, I'll try it out, maybe I've overlooked something ^^ like the snafu with the fridge.
You can wash dishes in the sinks labelled as off the grid. If you cannot there are two reasons. One, the sink is dirty. Two, there is a bug that lots with the trait dont recognize there is a sink available. I got this bug on one lot but not on others.
I'm not in game to double check but I believe all the fridges work, I'm using a different one than you are and I have seen someone mention they are using the cheapest one and that works too.
Thank you, I included htis info in the text! That's great to know, hopefully those bugs will meet DevTerminator soon. I have to say that I did not try the fridges because they lacked the 'hint' in the description until I ran into the stove issue. I tried the cheapest one first - nope, not working! And then the one that looked similarly in style to my stove because that seemed logical to me and then was happy as a clam when it worked. My Sim will mostly grill because there is more variety but it annoyed me that he lacked the option to use the stove.
