I used to have a notebook mod but it's been broken for awhile. I agree that Off-the-Grid needs more options. Like laptops for instance. Laptops run on BATTERIES so why can't my University student do their term paper at home?

yes !! typewriters and pen/paper and notepads, we have the journal option, so it should be easy to "patch" in :) :)

I use CC and mods to do historical saves now and then. Having just pen and paper in order for writing books and letters would open up so much to do for me in the game.

In real life I love writing by hand and collect pretty notebooks. Moleskin and all the rest.

It would be so nice to have a sim sitting outside in a park just writing in a notebook by hand.

A typewriter would be a good option but some simmers play historical gameplay and a typewriter though awesome wouldn't fit into all historical gameplay and I would love the option of a functional quill/fountain pen. Or even a calligraphy pen with a calligraphy skill to learn off the grid. We do need off the grid options for writing, I think there was a mod a while back that had the option of a notebook. But I could be wrong about that.

The tablet we have functions off the grid but we can't use it to write with. Maybe they can add it into the tablet as an option with future updates.

A typewriter AND a plain old notebook would both be amazing!

I do hope the devs see this! ;)
