I’ve been having problems with the Starlight Accolades for a while, probably months. It’s been different problems. One time random sims were using the microphone to sing or do comedy so the host couldn’t announce the awards. Last time the host showed up last minute but at least my sim recieved his trophy.
I have noticed that the reactions to celebrities has increased recently and is really disruptive. My sims drop everything else to embarrass themselves gawking over a celebrity.
Thank you for responding. I'[m so sorry to hear of your troubles. What venue are you using for the Starlight Accolades? Make certain it's got the lot trait Hotspot, rather than Up and Coming Hotspot. That's important. Have you tried a game repair? Or have you check your mods, if you have any?
I had some problems where there simply was no host a time back, but once I got it sorted, things have been going just fine until the Patch, that is. Happy to say, I did a game repair, (Which I generally do after a Patch, but in thinking this patch was said to be small, I didn't do it. 🤨) My bad. Things are working again for me, at least. I wish you the very best of luck.
I’m still using the lot that came with the pack, I only go there for the award show so haven’t gotten around to updating it.
i’m glad it works again for you! I will also try a repair and see if it works again. That is if one of my sims gets nominated again. Last time it was an author that won for his second book, it must have been awesome 😃
