Oh, My, But That Was Funny!

I have my teen Proper Celebrity (on the scary edge of becoming a Global Superstar) at the Starlight Accolades, just in case. I also play with a mod called Slice of Life. The upgraded version has a new feature wherein Sims will suddenly just act silly. Well, here Erik is all dressed in a nice suit and he gets up from his chair and begins to act silly. (It's the taunting interactions, primarily.) Thorne Bailey is sitting on his knees in the row ahead of Erik. I look over and he's got his index finger held vertically over his lips and he's — shushing Erik! That was just so funny and unexpected. Priceless.

    That’s funny! I love those little moments in this game! I was playing my scientist Sim tonight, and she was abducted 3 times in about two Sim weeks. I hardly ever see that anymore, never mind that many times. She also ended up with two alien children (thanks to MCCC for allowing females the chance). It’s a crazy house now since she had an older son already, and just found out she’s expecting twin girls.

    Is it a thing for sims to sit on their knees at the Starlight Accolades? I went there recently with a sim and there were 3 sims sitting on their knees in front of the empty chairs, all dressed in their fanciest clothes. :lol: Anyway, one of the funniest interaction I saw recently was between a sim and his cat. He was playing games on the computer and the cat comes up to him and starts meowing. Next thing I see, he stretched his arm out, pointed to another room and shouted at the cat something that looked like Scram! :lol:

    I don't think it was always that way, but recently it seems to be standard. They never have enough chairs, for one. What I noticed yesterday when I was playing, it was almost as if the guys were being gentlemanly in their behavior, leaving the chairs empty for the females. If they do it again, then I applaud the coding. That's cool.

    My sims had a wedding yesterday. They invited all their closest friends, parents and siblings. I tried to have everyone sit down before the ceremony but many of them wandered off. Everyone except for the moms. The moms sat and watched. It was cute/funny to me.
