Oh. Oh, Man, That's Messed Up!

I'm finally getting a chance today to explore the sentiments given us via the patch. I restarted my Ancestral game save and I made John and Sarah Jane friends, via MCCC, so that bar is full. Since these two apparently knew each other for years and were close in age, it would follow by their teen years they would already be friends. However, I removed any hint of a romance between them, I had too eagerly given them the other day. I started them out from scratch, so to speak. Well, they talked a bit, became BFFs giving them the Deeply Connected sentiment. I had her initiate a few romantic interactions and they developed a very small pink bar. I have no clue what she said to him next, but suddenly he tells her she's very beautiful but he doesn't feel any deep connection or sentiment (can't recall what it said precisely) to her right now. :open_mouth: Wow. That fledgling pink bar is gone. Gone. Gone, I say! I didn't want to cheat their romance, wanting to let myself have the full experience of these new sentiments. Now, I'm thinking this system is about making such relationships harder to attain, as I know many have complained about such.

Well, no worries. I'll just keep at it and hopefully, my reward will be great. (And if all else fails, since these two are my sixth great-grandparents and they loved each other, dearly, I'll simply cheat their romance bar to full.) But, so far this is intriguing.
