I mean you can still go to the festivals? You just have to time it right when the harvestables are actually in season to even grab at. Thought it was funny when I realized some of the harvestables didn't have anything on them because I didn't think about it at the time. Nice detail, but I was just 'aww man'. :p

OK, so it's ok to just delete those gnomes after their holidays are over? I wasn't sure and didn't want to bring down a horde of angry whatevers. LOL. >:) >:) >:)

I thought one of those gnomes ate my cat. He was dressed like a polar bear and looked menacingly at the kitten whenever it was around (actually, it looked menacing at everything whenever it was around). Then I couldn't find the cat so I thought he ate it. But, nope, she was just hiding under the couch.

@LadyKyn & @FlamingoKicker1: My sim appeased two gnomes with pie and coffee, but the third was enraged by a gift of fruitcake! Pleading resulted in getting shocked, even when the pleader wasn't the guilty party, so I deleted the unforgiving little devil, with no ill effects.

I also manually moved the seed-dropping gnomes. They did teleport one more time after I moved 'em, but I put 'em back where I wanted them. Then midnight struck, and the gnomes didn't teleport again. Ever. (Haven't yet had another 'gnome' holiday & don't know if they'll reactivate at that time.) I don't like picking up the seed packets, so I'm happy!

I delete all the ones that I couldn't appease and keep the rest lol.

I usually do. There's just too many to keep around, especially if they're going to materialize every time the holiday rolls around. Besides, they're worth 100-200 simoleons a piece, maybe even more, so it's a nice little money maker for your sim.

I've only experienced the holiday gnomes once so far and was fortunate enough to pick the right appeasement objects to gift them. They dropped the requisite seed packets and after Harvestfest was over, they stopped. I deleted the gnomes and any seeds I didn't need or want for the simoleons.

But, next time I have them for a holiday, I'm going to try to purposely make them angry. Reason being, I read on SimsVIP that you get simoleons for kicking the angry gnomes and one of them could even be worth a million simoleons! I'd say the risk of everything breaking in my Sims home is worth it for the possibility of getting that amount of money! Especially for my Sims that have high handiness skill and can just repair everything. :)

Obviously lots to learn about those gnomes! In my case, only 2 out pf 4 have the glory, so maybe their gifting ritual will change if I interact with them all... Both with glory got angry at first, but then got the glor from my sim asking for forgiveness.

They are more than 1 year old now, still not switching position. I'm glad they got stuck in the florist shed and not in their kitchen or livingroom :)

One of the Seasons' videos I watched on youtube included a gnome-kicking event; I don't remember which one it was, though! ??LazyGameReviews?? Could easily have been someone else; I'm sure y'all can find something good if you google for it. Fun-ny! :tongue:
