- Katofhyrule12Seasoned NoviceCool Kitchen stuff includes icecream that changes the weight of Sims. It is one of my favorite items in the game.
- FatTribble23New ScoutBased on your answers to @eleri I think you would enjoy Laundry Day even if you never do laundry. I LOVE the country living style of the furnishings. There's even an old washboard you can hang on the wall, identical to the one in my laundry room. If you like the Cottage Living furnishings, you'll like Laundry Day's too.
- ChampandGirlieNew SpectatorFor me, it's a tie between Bowling Night and Laundry Day. I used Bowling Night and probably Movie Stuff to make a "Funplex" that I send sims to a lot especially in rainy or cold weather. The funplex has bowling lanes, a bar and movie theatre rooms along with an arcade. The bowling is a very frequent activity there and it also brings in groups of other sims to bowl so the place is always lively.
- SimmervilleSeasoned AceI should probably not have voted a all, because most of those packs I do not own. But just wanted to give a point to Bowling Night that I just purchased. Although the bowling event might seem a bit restricted - not something you would typically benefit from at home on a daily basis, such as many of the other packs, but I think the items and bowling event is pretty good, and I've added bowling clubs and prepare an annual bowling tournament. You would need to put in a touch of imagination and notes-on-the-side, but that goes for so many parts of this game. I also enjoyed building 3-4 bowling arenas spanning from the traditional old dark pub in Windenburg, to a glamorous hall with champagne tables near by in Del Sol Valley. I plan for 1 club in each arena.

Converting the pub in Windenburg into a bowling alley is clever. I put mine in Newcrest but Newcrest is a neutral destination for all of the worlds as I play it so anyone can easily go to Newcrest from any world except for a remote one like Sulani. You're right that you can use it anywhere and the "Mid-century style" suits some of the worlds a lot. - BissenNessSeasoned Veteran

@Simmerville definitely fun ideas, but not the only way to roll (or bowl). I'm usually more casual about it. I want my sim to hang out with some friends and I think "Why not go bowling?"
I agree that if you want to establish a proper bowling culture, you need Get Together clubs, especially since bowling townies always show up in teams with uniforms. Nothing worse than Nancy Landgraab and her crew looking down their noses at you because they're all spiffy in their matching mint-colored bowling shirts, while you and your friends look like a disorganized rabble. With Get Together, you can pick your bowling uniform, a favorite bowling bar, autonomous club behaviors, etc. - almost a tie between movies and bowling for second place interesting
I always end up bouncing between those too which is why i have yet to buy either one cause i always go like " well theres this completely different thing i could buy first" might just do that again tbh
suddenly reminded theres that medieval castle kit and goth kit coming next year... - SheriSimSeasoned HotshotI chose movie hangout stuff for a few different reasons. it has some very colorful patterned furniture for the living room/dinning room, that you can mix and match.
I believe it has boho style clothing ( kind of reminds me of the 1970’s when I was in Jr. high, high school, and college ). There are bell bottomed pants and things in the pack if I remember correctly.
Both the CAS and the furniture were different and more colorful than furniture and clothing in other packs.
It has 2 super large theatre like TV screens I use them to make indoor theatres, with a bar, the arcade machine from get together, popcorn maker from this pack, and ice cream maker from cook kitchen, I also made an old fashioned outdoor drive in.( though because of seasons you need a roof over the outdoor one now ). I add cars to the drive in and put some of the folding chairs and the folding love seat from outdoor retreat next to the cars. An upsized lotion base game bottle makes a good outdoor soeaker. I also added an outdoor play area for toddlers and children. And there is an indoor place where sims can get food popcorn etc. sit at a counter, or take outside to watch a movie. This pack is the closest thing to add a playable movie theatre.
You can watch several different types movies on any TV with the pack which is kind of cute, especially if you have sims in a club ( from get together ), that watch tv and eat together at each others houses.
The pack comes with a popcorn popper that you can make several types of popcorn with, carmel corn etc. If you have dine out, you can even sell popcorn in a restaurant.
Overall, I just think it is a very useful pack.
Cool kitchen is also nice especially for the ice cream maker. One of my favorite ice cream recipe’s is the diet ice cream one for rotational sims that have gained weight while I wasn’t playing them…… it has some nice kitchen stuff too.
Just a shout out here for Luxury party stuff too. It has my favorite buffet table ( I like it better than the ones in the wedding game pack ). Luxury stuff also has a few nice formal dresses, and I think it had some hairstyles I really liked too. ended up with Horse Ranch + Batuu + Laundry bundle :)
