On what sort of a community lot does a Cinema work best for you ?

i made several cinema clubs,
i would like to see at least one other cinema club meet at that venue & watch movies

the do's in the clubs are watching movies & being friendly with the club members & sometimes with members from the other clubs
to drink & to eat is not in the don'ts so they will do it too if there is a need i think
it's a pity that we can't limit the food & the drinks available at the bar or the cafe
i don't have the popcorn maker pack, so i can't use that - it's the Movie SP Rukola_Schaaf ... ts ts ts :lol:

i think i'll test it with a bar & a cafe, which seems more reasonable for me :smile:

@Rukola_Schaaf I've got a bunch of lots with hidden objects - a jungle gym in a park, various things in different bars - and Sims seem to not even know they exist :)

That usually works (I usually hide objects in the basement too!) but since it's a bar a mixologist will be spawned and he or she will probably moan or just stand there at the curb doing nothing. The rest of the visitors shouldn't notice it though.

I have mine currently set as a retail venue so my sims can buy popcorn and movie memorabilia too. Then I have a free bartender mod so I can call one to the lot without having to pay, and my sims can get drinks afterwards. :)

edit: I spotted quite a few cute decor items I can add to my cinema shop in the Kid's Room Stuff Pack.

I put it in a shopping mall under retail.

i decided to go with a cafe setup,
which is quite realistic, IRL Cinemas have often cafes

i won't be buying anytime soon neither the popcorn SP nor the Kids SP, so that's a limitation there :smile:


but i could combine a photographer with a cinema & shop maybe
perhaps that'll work somehow :blush:

Outdoor Cinemas work pretty well with Parks I think :3
