But then they solved that by making costumes all winter proof. So tourists still walk around in shorts and Hawaii shirts in the middle of a blizzard and don't freeze. The cosplayers don't freeze. Food Stand people don't freeze. But the sims around them, playing basketball or whatever? Dying quickly.
And it's not only festivals but it is what stands out to me.
I really REALLY feel they put the wrong climate on San Myshino. The city reads to me (with the name, as well) like a mix between San Fransisco, Berlin and some asian cities. Put the tempereature there too! How about muggy foggy summers and rainy but mostly not snow winters? Seems far better to me.
The only fix is to turn off temperature effects, which instead makes the whole pack redundant. - Stinking leaf piles everywhere affecting moodlets, sims remaining in their cold weather outerwear inside (especially if using a thermostat set to warmer), lack of more items/outdoor activities for warm/hot weather, having to make rain wear an everyday outfit and making the sims wear it instead of having a separate category and it be automatic like with hot and cold, how many summer days (and summers unless you change season length) need to be spent in Granite Falls to complete certain milestones for the Outdoor Enthusiast aspiration -- especially the identify all unidentified plants.
Not to do with Seasons exactly but I'm also still not a fan of the fact that, for whatever reason, it never labels what Outdoor Retreat plants are when they have been identified but continues to label them as "wild" unnamed plants that you might find out what it is if you over "harvest" it might tell you how many and what kind of harvestable you'll be getting. I was hoping that would be part of the gardening overhaul that we got. - pepperjax12307 years agoSeasoned Ace

The gnomes give me the creeps... I love everything but the gnomes! They go all about my house and It's annoying!
I avoid gnomes in my games if I can help it because I too find them creepy. - Piles of stinking leaves, thunderstorms breaking things all the time, the mud puddle interaction is just silly.
- Beardedgeek727 years agoSeasoned AceI am starting to get bored with holidays. I am planning a household move, but it's new years eve. I've caught myself several times almost clicking the "End Holiday Early" button. I have not even gone through a full year yet and I am already feeling like Holidays are just getting in the way of gameplay for me.

- Simmerville7 years agoLegendI mislike that they can't use an umbrella while walking their dog...
- akl12267 years agoSeasoned AceHonestly I wish we had more flexibility. I’m on 14 day seasons right now with normal lifespan. I am starting to feel like it’s a bit long but then 7 is way to short for me. I like holidays a lot but want them spread out so they don’t constantly interrupt my Sims work and school. I feel like holidays would irritate me with short seasons because they have in the past. My sims just won’t get many repeat holidays in their lifetimes which is a downer. I think 10 would have been perfect for me.
So not being able to customize season lengths is what irritates me I guess.
Otherwise it’s truly amazing. I thinks it’s the best seasons expansion we’ve gotten. - LolaLuvsSims7 years agoSeasoned AceI wanted 10 day seasons too @Akl500P since that was possible I just changed my life spans with MCCC.
- JoRN14147 years agoSeasoned AceI've played one family through all the seasons without holidays. Just to test it out. The only thing that bothers me is that they don't change out of cold weather clothes when they come in. It's really only the cold weather stuff. I don't mind if they are in warm weather gear.
