Option to disable vampires?

Alien abductions are not balanced. I can play for a few hundred hours and only see 1(!).

Start building a rocket ship and using the telescope. That'll change.

Obviously you have no idea what some players have done to get aliens. I've had Sims in the science career, collect the rocks, visit Sixam and do all the recommended things with one abduction since the aliens were tweaked. That's been two years.

I bought GTW in good faith that the things that were supposed to be in the pack were there. No where on the box or in ads did it say "Third party mods needed to play as intended."

Same - same - same. People who do not want aliens think if they see one or two that is too much - even on aliens night at the bar or going to sixam - that is not the way the pack was designed or told us it would work - not at all. We want what we were sold - not a shut off that we now have. I do not use CC or mods so don't even suggest I use them to get back something I already paid for that complainers got shut off. The game was sold to me one way - and the demand to shut down abductions changed the reason I paid 40 bucks for it. There is no refund policy so it is not as if I can get the money back. Demanding a game gets stuff removed is not fair to us that paid to have those things in our game. It should be if people don't want some part of a pack - they just don't buy the pack - not get the pack changed from the way it was made and sold to us.

To me that is bogus. I expect to get what I paid for. The changes if they had to be made needed to be optional - not change the game from what we paid for. If it could not be optional - then in my view those people who did not want part of those things should not have bought the pack. I paid to have abductions - and now I don't get ANY - how is this fair?

I knew in advance CL did not allow any self creating apts or having them in other worlds and even though I liked some things about CL - I choose not to get it because I wanted to create apts in all worlds - I rule remember - but CL did not let me rule so I choose not to get it. I did not pitch a fit and demand it be changed - I just did not get it and won't unless I can convince myself to like it the way it is - that is as it should be.

I don't want Vamps changed and messed up like they messed up GTW for me; but that ep was not just about aliens after all, so not much I can do about it. That is all there is to it. But this pack, " It is after all a pack dedicated to VAMPIRES" and they should not be honed in period.
