Origin Game Repair Takes A Long Time - What's Changed??

Has anyone noticed that repairing the game takes a very long time compared to how short of a time it used to take? A game repair used to take maximum 10 mins and that's with all the packs installed. ...

I'm avoiding it. I repaired my game after the Snowy Escape patch and it took hours. It's been super slow for a few months now.
