You can play the game even if Origin is offline. As long as you are able to launch origin and log in, it should work even if your internet cable is not connected. If you launch the game from the exe file, it will open Origin and you'll need to log in, but the game will start afterwards, no need to click on game icon in Origin.

I think you need to look in windows -> Program files, not the documents folder.
looked there no exe file no way to open without Origin that I can see
