Overall, Jungle Adventure is the bigger pack and has more to offer.
I personally prefer Outdoor Retreat for its charm, and because it ties well to my Sims stories, but it's more of a "buy it later on" pack while Jungle Adventure is more of a "get it now to really give your game an upgrade" kind of pack, if that makes sense lol.
