There is actually no such thing as unemployed in the game even though they use the word. Unemployed to me only applies to someone who needs a job and hasn't managed to get one. In The Sims, every sim who wants or needs a job can get one, immediately, no qualifications needed, no interview, and the job is created for him, no saying "sorry no vacancies right now" the employer simply makes room for him on the payroll. I don't understand why they didn't ever make this part of the game more interesting, more of a challenge
