Painting club problem

Question

I started a painting club thinking I could have the other sims in the club paint, then I could sell their paintings for money. Well I made their hangout a lounge and put a load of easels there and they went painting but I can't sell them? Should I have them gather at my house or something?

Edit: I tried making a club gathering at my house and put more easels there. I can sell them! My house is like a factory now >:3

I had a painting club once but I let them gather at my sim's home so he could sell the paintings or hang them on the wall of the art room.

No, you can't sell paintings made by other sims.

maybe you could have the sims make them and leave them or gift them to you after they paint them then maybe you can sell them?  I do not know as I dont have as good of an imagination as you to have thought of this type of club.

I don’t think a writing club would work because books go into each sims inventory and you won’t have access to them because you’re not playing them.
