Painting from reference now counts as CC in the gallery?

I think, and it's fuzzy to be sure, that if you have CC in a lot - let's say a Venus De Milo painting - and you take a picture of the painting or use Paint from Reference to paint the picture again, then place that painting or picture in another lot that otherwise doesn't have CC and upload it to the gallery - that now counts as CC when it didn't used to.

At least that's how I interpreted it.

Inneed to know : do paintings that are painted from reference still transfer through the gallery? I sincerely hope so.

I was just planning on starting a story with a painter and I want to be able to transfer them to a different save.
