Sometimes i want to be able to add both Cat and Dog Lover in a sim, but that consumes more trait slots than i would want, and to be honest those 2 traits don't add a lot of personality to our sims. Adding both of them kinda leaves our sim with a shallow perosnality. If we had Animal lover when we want to love both cats and dogs (and maybe horses in the future), it would fix this mistake.
Yes, I agree - a sim with both the Cat and Dog Lover traits doesn't leave much room to create a well-rounded character. I like that we can create dog/cat (and hopefully one day horse) lovers as I know quite a few in real life, but it would be nice to also have a broader trait for sims that just love all animals, including rabbits and birds etc. if we get more pet options. In general I want traits to have more impact on behaviour and emotions too, as well as a greater variety of interesting traits to choose from.
