Part time jobs

They can't have two part-time jobs as far as I know. The schedule of the shifts cannot be edited either. Never could, I believe.

But they patched it in with the latest update.

This it what the patchnotes say:

And last but not least (you still with me?) all existing Part-Time Jobs are no longer just for Teens. That’s right, now elders could work as Fast Food Employees. Young Adults could be Babysitters if they want. Why not? The Part-Time world is your oyster. Oh oh oh -- and one last thing on that note: You can now have two Part-Time Jobs at once and pick between shifts. Wowee.

IIRC, the manual labor and barista part time jobs are both morning shift, they don't have afternoon/night shift options. You can have two part time jobs, but they have to be on different shifts.

Hmm, but the manual larborer is saturday and sunday, the barista is monday to friday :/ and the patchnotes say you can pick between shifts... aww, oki, I think it has to be like that now.

I currently have a single mother sim the is working 2 part-time jobs. She is doing babysitter and I think retail. So it certainly depends, keep trying.

I'm having the same issue as OP, I tried doing this exact combination yesterday and it wouldn't work :( so it may be a bit buggy.

I wish we could have a part-time job on TOP of our other jobs. For example, a struggling actor who's also working as a barista to make ends meet while auditioning. Like Emma Stone's character in La La Land.

@ihavesorelegsnow For me manual larbor and Fast food employer worked, because the work times are different.

I was hoping my sim would be able to hold the freelance career and a part time job but that doesn't seem to work either.
