Yes, it's a huge letdown, even if your sim does do something, there is still nothing. I really wished there was more effort put into this. I don't even bother sending my sims to those anymore.

I thought I was doing something wrong. Is it a glitch or is this by design?

It's not a glitch, they set it up this way.

I wish we could get prizes for competing.

If you click on the bar and enter, you should get a notification (I have everytime I did it), so this is a bug.

I got the notification that said I should do something when it's my turn. But... when is my turn? Is there a notification for that awell?

I did a search on AHQ and didn't find anything like this, but I'm not the best at navigating that site. Maybe you can try again and see if it is still happening or open a topic over there.

For those who don't know, you have to click on the bar to participate in the event. I just figured this out today by trying to order a drink.
