Patch and Base Game Update Discussion (New Patch released today 7/26)

I was beginning to get the overly mean sims before the update. I just started a new sim year and this happened when i created a new save using "save as"

3 days ago, after today.

I fixed my number one issue with the "dresser"  IF 

I fixed my issue with the dresser for now. That doesn't mean it's a complete fix. I had to delete the sim that was I was playing in my previous save before I downloaded the patch (s) I had to download 3 ...three patches to get this game to rotate right. That's 3 patches after today(midnight).

The sim in question was Liberty Klien. I had uploaded her as a pure vanilla version with existing skills and her cc version would not change outfits correctly.  I had to delete her (the cc version) from my game. I then went into my library and downloaded the cc. Free version of her with no mods or cc.

She works beautifully and fully in my game now. ❤️

I've not had mean Sims, however I'm playing with the Lovestruck expansion. It may only be a problem without it.

I've had problems with the bed cuddle interaction. It may be because I'm in an apartment or the moo cheat was used, but all other bed interactions can be done including woohoo and relaxing together.

I had it playing LS so its with pack installed too (more about that in LS screenshot thread tomorrow 😂)

I really hope this patch fixes it though cause as funny as it is now I really don't want it messing any important saves

What good news!  I sincerely hope there will be some good kind souls who will check back in here and let those of us waiting to update know if these new fixes actually do work.  😊

I miss those and I was worried, but in my own language they switch the term to the status too, the replacement word for Boyfriend/Girlfriend its kind of cute. I haven't heard it in like 30 years, and it's named like a dating show from that time. With that status thing they could offer the next  steps with divorce or widowed. 

In general I'm okay with neutral term, I use them from time to time, since the names from the foreigners not always really familiar to me to use the correct greeting form, however I don't like it that the inclusive speak makes biological women invisible again. We fight centuries to get more visible in the language and now, just after a short time, it's gone again. It feels for me like a backstep and betrayel of our achievements.
