Patch delayed

Total honesty, I'm furious. I have set up my work so I was ready for this patch. Now, one hour before it's release, they decide to say it's delayed.

I'm sure it will be an unpopular opinion to be cross and I sincerely hope there isn't another underlying or sadder reason for the delay but at this moment in time I am beyond cross with them.

I'm not going to lie that I'm disappointed, but it's only 1 more day. It was probably the right thing to do to delay it. And hey, less time to wait between that and Eco Lifestyle!

I agree that they could have addressed it sooner, but I think it's pretty understanding considering the current world situation. So, no, it's not a joke. It's very serious actually.

Some of us use the game to leave the real world problems behind us though.

I respect that but the game is still there. You can play it whenever you want. They delayed the patch by only a day. It was probably done because of the #blackouttuesday which is, in my opinion, understandable.

I'm sure if earlier notification was possible it would have happened. They're aware that the community was making plans and looking forward to the update.

It's probably due to the situation in America today so I am willing to wait another day. I doubt if something is wrong with the Patch. Other events have been delayed too, the PS 5 launch, Activision's (Call of Duty) and EA Sports have delayed stuff due to it. See Twitter.

Understandable and no big deal, although an official statement from their twitter (thesims) would be nice.

Meh. Perhaps a little more heads up would have been nice but its no biggie. I wasnt updating anyway until my mods were caught up.

I´ve been waiting all day, good i found out the reason why. Better the delay if there is something in the patch that can break the game totally :smiley:

Agreed. If this is the reason, I fully support it and am more than happy to wait another day.

Even if it's not the reason, considering the state of the world, this is the last thing I'm going to worry about.

I removed my mods folder and Im prepared, where is the patch??
