Is there a discussion on how to get updates with bad internet/no internet?

Also I think someone tried to jank my whole account, found a weird log in location on and I'm creeped out because I have not lived in said location since way before I played the sims. I fixed it but it scared me. I just have a situation where I can't play right now because everything I have is trying to break so I can't download updates or access my game. I have my laptop but it's now in bad shape due to a screen accident, worse shape for reasons I cannot understand really. I have been using an external screen for months now, can no longer afford home internet, bought a slow pay portable screen to fix things. It stopped working for no reason, now I can't get the display settings on the laptop to open which is weird so no access to anything just because. I was thinking of trying to use the sims to do money making things but never flipping mind I guess. Why would everything snowball so wrong all at one time though? So I'm just stuck now I guess?
