Patch January 13, 2026 (Photo Fix Identified)

Because I speculated about 2 or 5 kits, I didn't think it could also be none.

It looks like this patch broke photos pretty badly. I have lost all the photos I had, even ones from the families that I didn't play yesterday have turned black, and I played for many hours and did many things. It's sad to lose the progress, but I guess I will have to roll back because I really want to keep the photos 😔

Hopefully it will get addressed in the next patch.

I have a Sim who started a professional photographer career. This is what her studio gallery looks like AFTER the latest update fix. Upon checking the photos that were still in the inventory, I find it completely empty.

I'm so upset about the photos. I have a legacy and I'm up to heir 17. He took a family member to the cemetery and I saw this. 😔Family portraits, gone.

And the current household basement. Can this be fixed? I don't mean just for future portraits, but for these current pictures. These family members are gone, I can't get their photos again. This should not have happened.

I waited for prom for my current heir and it never came. 

Do you have a save file? Unfortunately having a save file with the photos still intact and waiting for until they fix the bug is the only way to keep your photos 😔 I'm so sorry for this. I have this bug too and I haven't been able to play my main save because of it.

Thankfully I was able to retake my pictures.
