"Path is sealed shut"

I've been 3 times and the same two paths are still shut. I brought the whole family on the first trip and then on the second and third trip I only brought 2 of them. Is that my problem?

My sims have been twice and they had different experiences in the jungle the first time they went to the temple this time they went deeper in the forest to the Royal Baths

I know it’s very effin annoying. I’ve been on plenty of trips and different gates will open and some won’t but the other Jungles will never open; however I have a feeling that we need all the right tools in our inventory to answers all those questions correctly when we open each gate. I mean all of them correctly, and maybe that will open other Jungles.
I like this because its a challenge and I like the frustration but Sims 3 World adventure is the best, hands down. Sims 3 is the best overall, there’s less loading but need Sims 4 graphics.

Yep, I have two gates I can't get through to save my life. I am Archaeology level 10.

I am Archaeology level 10 also, but can't get beyond the first foal od Jungle explorer because I cannot find the " off the beaten path". I am assuming this is something like the bramble tunnel in Outdoor Retreat to find the hermit. Has anyone found any of these yet?

off the beaten path can be won by going to the bath house with the pool. u win it as soon as you pass through the door of the old bath house.
