Pet Fears

Is there a way to change pet fears? I think my Sim's dog is scared of the stove. He covers his head with his paw and wimpers every time my Sim cooks lol.

I don't like the pet fears. My pets always seem to be afraid of the TV or computer, which is a pain every time my sims use them.
