Pets' Deaths Really Made Me Cry...

Well, the curiosity killed the cat... :s :'(
I was so curious how does the pet deaths look like in The Sims 4. So I enabled testingcheats and entered the following cheats:
sims.get_sim_id_by_name

Then entered this cheat and put the elder pet's ID there:
sims.age_up

The results made me cry.
Firstly, the pet lied down, the short guitar melody played and this notification appeared:
For dogs:
has led a good life filled with bones, balls, and barks, but it is now time to lay down and make his/her way to the Big Dog Park in the Sky.

For cats:
has reached the end of his/her lives, and now will pass on to a better place.

Then the Grim Reaper came and did the usual: checked the tablet and then reaped the soul as the usual. What made me really sad here was that the pet was still alive all this time, and the Grim Reaper then comes and puts the pet down. Instead of dead pet, you'll see it's gravestone or urn.
What made this event much sadder was that there is no option to plead with Grim Reaper and save the weak pet. This is really unfair as you can do that with sims who die by old age. The thing that comforts me is that you can buy the Ambrosial treat from any unowned vet clinic.
