- Delete the households with pets
Override the sim_filter containing pets
I guess that should work - Override as in make a mod? Oh actually I bet MC Controller has something for this :) I don't mind other sims having well-controlled pets I just don't want a load of other sims' pets and strays destroying my life!
- Yes, I'm thinking about a mod. I don't know if MC does it, but if it's mainly strays you don't want, there shouldn't be that many filters to change.
There are some lot traits assigned in the new world that you'll probably want to remove too (ones that attract pets) "IngeJones;c-16521245" wrote:

I haven't had any strays destroying anything in my Sim's house - I actually have only seen a couple.- no pets at all. its pretty bare without them. i guess you like the items more ;)
- I have just bad memories of animals in previous games. I had horses spawning in one of my bars and they couldn't get out the door so I kept having to pull a wall down to let them out. Then more were spawned in the same place. I had stray dogs constantly coming in to the house and demolishing the sofa. Even in Sims 1 as soon as you got friendly with a cat, mice would start spawning in the house.
- I have a few families in brindleton bay. I even had one living in a tent. And strays would walk by sometimes, but never interfered with my sim until she started initiating bonding with one of them and ended up adopting it.
You do see a lot of stray cats nearby the little town area and dogs in the park, but I’ve never seen them go inside the bars and stuff. It seems the strays won’t go into a house unless your sim tries to talk to them. (So far anyway)
Brindleton is a gorgeous world! It even has a lighthouse and a little food stall with unique foods to the area (like a lobster roll) - If thats what you're worried about, then it should be fine without deleting the pets. they are only in brindleton bay, and only interact with you if you talk to them. Also you hsve to have certain lot traits to get them to come inside lot. (dog and cat friendly for community lots and dog and cat hangout to have pets chill in your home.) So it's all good

There are stray pets in Selvadorada too. Which is really sad when you think about the fact that Selvadorada is based on South-America where stray pets are a big problem..- Ah right, so as long as I don't have any of my favorite households living in Brindleton Bay, and only visit it, I should be able to largely ignore the animals? That sounds not such a problem then :)
