Plans for Life & Death?

I have never played a game where my sims die. I like to turn aging off. So I think I am going to finally play with it on and do some kind of legacy gameplay.

I think I may actually play with the families that come with the game, since I can essentially restart playing them as babies and earn everything again.

I'm going to move a new sim into the household, probably an elderly aunt, and use her for the L&D gameplay. 

I'll probably build a castle with a Gothic feel, create some spellcasters and start with them.  Maybe create a vampire or two as well.

You know what, I’ve never played with aging. Mine’s always turned off because I get too attached. But now I might have to do a new run through of my legacy family from the start as see what goes on! Or if I’m not brave enough to have my favs die then I’m definitely gonna be having a blast with the bucket lists and tarot. That’ll really liven up my gameplay! I feel like bucket lists in particular are really gonna help keep the game feeling lively, so I can’t wait for that!

Already made Sylvia ans John Osteer , elderly parents of Geoffrey Landgraab (remember, Nancy was the Landgraab one, not Geoffrey originally) And an elder uncle, Richard Osteer, very mean, crumpy and very rich man, but fatally ill by OFS  (overlapping festival syndrome) 

Richard had made a will. And he told all he will leave most of the money to Geoffrey "and his wife"... what remains unclear is wich one ? Nancy, who was his wife when will was made, or Babs who is his current wife?

Or.. did Richard make a new will, what skipped the generation all together in favor to next one.. in this case, Malcolm or Georgia? Or both? 

I'm thinking my characters for the new save will have to be inspired by figures from history and/or Gothic literature.  Imagine Mary and Percy Shelley hanging out and bam, they bump into Frankstein's creature and then Victor Frankstein himself.  As I have vampires, I'll need Dracula as well.  I could do Jekyll and Hyde with one of the occult races too.  

I am trying to make a big legacy starting off with 8 sims who are inspired by different packs.  So far I have a cottage living, strangerville, get famous, eco lifestyle and lovestruck sim.  They go from teen to young adult, complete the main aspirations of the pack and then I will start matching them once all 8 are ready.

I think for certain I will make my next main sim in Ravenwood using the CAS and new traits, have them grow up in the world, follow the aspiration, learn the skill, do tarot and do one of the careers.  Not sure if male or female yet.

I’m still playing lovestruck so at first I might just play around with the grim reaper and funerals but I’m looking forward to use this new pack a lot.  I think it’s interesting setting.

I usually play with aging off but I think one or two sims might encounter an early death. With a funeral. They will then continue their story as a ghost. I want to explore the new world, complete the souls journey, get a pet bird. And of course at some point have a sim reborn.
